Rum Balls

Try out this recipe treat. I get requests for these Rum Balls every year.


2 cups Graham Cracker Crumbs 
1/2 cup icing sugar                      1/2 cup chocolate chips
3/4 cup of sprinkles (whatever type you like)                                  1/3 cup of rum                             3 tablespoons corn syrup                   1 cup of ground pecans, hazelnuts or walnuts



– In medium size bowl combine crumbs, nuts, sugar, rum and corn syrup
– Roll into balls and chill until cold
– In a double boiler melt chocolate then let cool
– Put sprinkles on plate
– Spread melted chocolate in palms of hands and roll each ball in palms to coat with a thin layer of chocolate
– Roll chocolate covered ball in sprinkles until evenly coated then place on cookie sheet
– Put in the fridge to chill
